Announcing ECC Presents: Ruth the Musical [Nov-5, Saturday, 7:30 PM]

The musical will feature all original music by Robin Cho and lyrics and direction by Woong S. Lee and is based on the Biblical story of Ruth. Ruth (played by Mi Hye Lee) is a Moabite widow who chooses to stay with Naomi, her mother-in-law, and follow her back to her ancestral home of Bethlehem. Through her sacrifice, Ruth finds God's protection, a new family, and love.

The one-act musical-performed in English-features a cast and crew from the Korean Church of Boston and is free and open to the public. The musical is another in a series of free musical and cultural performances that the church has hosted, dedicated to enriching the Brookline community and the church's mission of building fellowship with its neighbors. Although street parking is available around the church, use of public transportation is highly recommended (Brookline Village T-Stop)
