Scenes from the Brookline's First Light 2012
Around this time every year, the people of Brookline hold the First Light winter festival around the town featuring a rich brew of performances and events showcasing the local talents from around the world. This year, our own Samulnori (if you are not familiar with it, you may look it up in wikipedia here.) team joined the fun, presenting the popular Korean traditional percussion music and giving an impromptu hands-on demo for curious children:
At the same time, a group was performing one of the great American inventions: jazzy blues music at out neighbor and friend, Chobee Hoy:
