Kiwoong Choi Quartet Part II [ July-6-Sat 7 PM ]
As part of an ongoing Summer Jazz series, Oasis Cafe Music Night presents the Kiwoong Choi Quartet on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the ECC Community Center, located at the Korean Church of Boston (PCUSA). Choi, a veteran South Korean drummer, who played for the famous Lee Seung Hwan Band, will be joined by Eitan Gofman (Tenor Saxophone), Gene Young Park (Piano) and Osmar Okuma (Bass). Oasis Cafe Music Night is an on-going music series that provides free concerts for the Brookline community sponsored by The Korean Church of Boston. Past Oasis Cafe performances include classical, jazz, and international music. Please come celebrate summer with jazz!
The program includes modern Jazz classics by masters such as Victor Feldman, Hoagy Carmichael, Joe Henderson and Cole Porter. It will also feature the Korean folk classic Arirang as arranged by Kiwoong.
This concert is possible thanks largely to generous support of musicians by Mr. Kwang Guen Chung!
