"The Same River, Twice" - Oasis Cafe with Group Saawee and Do Yeon Kim [9-30-Sunday 5 PM]

Finally the Warm days are over!

It’s time now to reboot one’s brain that has been resting during the hot spells. Oasis cafe presents four musicians who are charting new territories where the future of Korean music lies. and beyond. To quote the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, "No man ever steps in the same river twice". While K-Pop is getting ever popular in the global stages, Korea’s musical tradition is much deeper and wider, and ever-changing. The musicians/performers featured in this concert have their musical ancestry going back centuries, yet they are ever stepping on new paths through experiments and collaboration with musicians from different cultures and genres. The river flows and artists evolve. We invite the audience to join and cheer for their quest.

Free admission. @ ECC chapel, 32 Harvard Street. Please join and meet the performers and fellow music lovers with snacks and beverages after the concert!
