Encore performance of Ruth : the Musical

We are presenting an encore performance of "Ruth: The Musical" on February 25th 2012 at 7:30 in the Children's Chapel at the Educational and Community Center (4 p.m. open dress rehearsal will also be held on the same date). The musical will feature all original music by Robin Cho and lyrics and direction by Woong S. Lee and is based on the biblical story of Ruth.Ruth (played by Mi Hye Lee) is a Moabite widow who chooses to stay with Naomi, her mother-in-law, and follow her back to her ancestral home of Bethlehem. Through her sacrifice, Ruth finds God's protection, a new family, and love.The one-act musical -performed in English - features a cast and crew from the Korean Church of Boston and is free and open to the public although donations are welcome. The strong positive reaction to the first performance musical and continued requests for another showing has prompted the church to stage the performance one more time. The musical continues the tradition of musical and cultural performances at KCB dedicated to enriching the Brookline community and the church's mission of building fellowship with its neighbors.
