Scenes from the Spring Cometh concerts

The concert program included
W.A. Mozart's Quartet for Flute, Violin, Viola, and Cello in D Major K.285,
J. Halvorsen’s Passacaglia in G minor for Violin and Viola,
and ever popular and exciting C. Edwards' arrangement of Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires for Piano Quartet.

The featured musicians are the members of The Soloists of New England (SONE):
Hyunjung Kim, violin
Minjung Chun, viola
Ju Hee Kang, flute
Young Sook Lee, cello
Hokyong Choi, piano

The program included a special treat: two junior musicians, recent winners of the SONE Competition, Paul Moon (violin) and Katherine E. Liu (piano), gave very impressive performance of Haydn’s violin concerto and Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2 in B flat minor.
